1.Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the Workon – Daily Work Tracker Pro mobile application (the “Application”), developed by Bharat Code (“Service Provider”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This document explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Application. The Application is provided as a commercial service and is intended for use “as is.”
By using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information Collection and Use
We designed Workon – Daily Work Tracker Pro to prioritize your privacy.
We do not collect or store your personal work data on external servers owned or controlled by Bharat Code.
The Application may process the following types of information:
User-entered data: Tasks, titles, tags, streaks, hours worked, notes, and similar information you add manually.
Local app data: Settings and app-related data required for the Application to function on your device.
Local export files: If you use the export feature, the Application may create a file on your device for your personal backup or transfer purposes.
Cloud backup data (optional): If you explicitly enable Google Drive backup, the app creates an encrypted copy of your local data for storage in your personal Google Drive account.
Notification-related settings: If you use Pro features such as auto block notification or reminder-related functionality, the app may access or store notification preferences locally on your device for feature operation.
We do not knowingly collect location data, biometric identifiers, or sensitive personal information through our own servers.
3. Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
By default, all data created within the Application is stored locally on your device in a secure local database. This data is not transmitted to us.
Local Export
If you use the export feature, exported files are stored only on your device or in a location selected by you. We do not receive a copy of these files.
Google Drive™ Backup (Optional)
To help prevent data loss, the Application offers an optional Google Drive backup feature.
Encryption: Before uploading, your data is encrypted using AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) with a password defined by you.
Storage Location: Encrypted backups are stored in the hidden “App Data” folder of your Google Drive account.
Access Control:
You: Can restore this data using the Application and your password.
Us (Bharat Code): We do not have access to your Google Drive, your backup files, or your encryption password. We cannot decrypt your data.
Public: These files are not publicly visible in your normal Google Drive file list and are intended to remain private within your account.
We follow reasonable practices to protect data integrity. However, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and remembering your backup password. If you lose your password, the backup may not be restorable.
4. Pro Features
The Pro version may include premium features such as:
Google Drive backup and restore.
Auto block notification or similar advanced notification-related features.
Additional premium productivity features made available within the app.
These features operate primarily on-device unless you explicitly choose Google Drive backup.
5. Third-Party Services
The Pro version may use the following third-party services:
Google Drive (Alphabet Inc.): Used only if you enable cloud backup to store your encrypted backup in your personal Google Drive account.
Google Play Services: Used for app distribution, security, and core platform functionality.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal work data with third parties.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Your locally stored data remains on your device until:
You delete specific entries manually within the app.
You clear the app’s storage from your device settings.
You uninstall the Application.
If you use the local export feature, exported files remain in the location selected by you until you delete them.
If you use the Google Drive backup feature, the encrypted backup file remains in your Google Drive until:
You overwrite it with a new backup.
You revoke the Application’s access to Google Drive.
You remove the stored app data through your Google account or Google Drive settings.
7. GDPR Compliance (European Union Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to certain processing of your data.
Since your work data is generally stored locally on your device or, if enabled by you, in your personal Google Drive account, you can typically exercise these rights directly through the Application, your device, or your Google account settings.

8. CCPA & CPRA (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
We do not sell your personal work data.
Data created within the app remains on your device or, if you enable the backup feature, in your encrypted Google Drive backup under your account.

9. CalOPPA (California Online Privacy Protection Act)
In compliance with CalOPPA:
We make this Privacy Policy publicly available through our Play Store listing and/or within the app.
Our app does not track users across third-party websites in a manner controlled by us, and therefore we do not respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals.
We may update this Privacy Policy by revising the “Effective Date” at the top of this page.
10. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 through our own services. If you believe a child has provided personal information in connection with the Application, please contact us.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. We will notify users by updating this page with the revised version.
Your continued use of the Application after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
12. Your Consent
By using Workon – Daily Work Tracker Pro, you consent to this Privacy Policy and the handling of information as described herein.
